Step 1
Start your Adobe® Reader® and select "Preferences" in the "Edit" menu.

Step 2
The "Preferences" window will appear. Please select "Security" at the left side.

You will see the following:

Click on "Advanced Preferences"

Step 3
The following window appears:

Select the tab "Windows Integration" and check the radio buttons as shown and then the button "OK".

Your Adobe® Reader® is now configured to verify the validity of the signature.

Important: After configuring the settings, close the Adobe® Reader® and open an emerion invoice again and the validity of the signature will be shown:

Please note: If the validity of the signature should not be able to be examined on the invoice, you see the following sign:

If this happens you must update the Microsoft Certificate Management. Therefore please click the link below an start the file "root.exe". It will be downloaded directly from Microsoft:
